This seminar gives an overview of the components of CONTROL-M/R. It will be shown how jobs and started tasks can be controlled in a production system (schedule), how job sequences are defined, how dependencies to other jobs, applications or started tasks are specified.

Control-M/R for z/OS - Advanced Functions I
This seminar builds on the CONTROL-M/R Basics seminar and deepens the knowledge of these products. The internal structure of CONTROL-M/R is explained, installation parameters are discussed, day change, enhanced scheduling and simulation are discussed using detailed exercises as examples.

Training procedure
We offer the courses as an online course, as a face-to-face course with course location Munich in our HORIZONT office or as a face-to-face in-house course at your premises. Seminars are offered in our office in Munich up to a number of 4 participants. In case of a larger number of participants we could also move to a hotel. We also conduct courses with only one participant!

What previous knowledge is required?
Please refer to the detailed descriptions of the individual training courses for the required prior knowledge.
How do I register?
Since our trainings are tailored to the customer, the registration usually takes place after a prior agreement by e-mail. Alternatively, registration can also take place via our online form(click here).
Which venues are possible?
An individual venue is possible. Depending on your wishes and circumstances, the training can take place at your premises, at our premises in Munich or in a conference hotel or similar.
What are the course times?
We usually start at 13:00 on the 1st day and finish the training at 12:00 on the last day.
What is available for course material?
All required working materials are provided by HORIZONT and are included in the respective course fee.
What happens if the training cannot take place?
Up to 4 weeks before the start of the course, a written cancellation can be made without any fees. In case of a cancellation on your part 4 to 2 weeks before the start, 50% of the course fee will be charged; in case of a later cancellation or no-show of the registered participant, the full course fee will be charged.
