Control-M/R for z/OS - Advanced Functions I

Seminar content: This seminar builds on the CONTROL-M/R Basics seminar and deepens the knowledge of these products. The internal structure of CONTROL-M/R is explained, the installation parameters are discussed, day changes, enhanced scheduling and simulation are discussed using detailed exercises as examples. The available utilities are also explained using examples. It is shown how CONTROL-M/R is integrated into the IOA family (Integrated Operations Architecture). Information on cross-platform scheduling with Control-M/Enterprise Manager is provided.

50% of the seminar consists of exercises. These very extensive exercises will enable the participant to also get to know special features of the functioning of CONTROL-M and CONTROL-M/Restart (CONTROL-R) and to fully use all possibilities of the product.
