Control-M/R for z/OS - Basics

Seminar content: This seminar gives the participants an overview of the components of CONTROL-M/R. It will be shown how CONTROL-M can be used to control jobs and Started Tasks in a production system (Schedule), how job sequences are defined, how dependencies to other jobs, applications or Started Tasks are specified. It is shown how job terminations including job restarts can be handled automatically, how special variables are used for job control.

Extensive exercises will enable the participant to learn and use the functionality of CONTROL-M and CONTROL-M/Restart (CONTROL-R).

In-house course:

In-house course possible from 1 participant on site at 3.345,- € plus travel expenses for the instructor against proof.

Course duration 4 days. Start 1.day approx. 10.00 o'clock - end last day approx. 12.00 o'clock.

For 2 participants flat rate 5.690,- €, each additional participant costs additionally 1.250,- € up to and including 5 participants. From the 6th participant up to and including 10 participants flat rate 9.900,- €, from the 11th participant each additional participant costs 1.000,- €. Travel expenses for the lecturer will be invoiced against proof.
