z/OS - TSO/E REXX Interpreter Language
In this seminar, employees from the areas of RACF administration, production control and system programming learn about the many possible uses of the REXX interpreter language. The focus is on efficiently simplifying recurring functions under TSO/E and creating TSO commands and EDIT macros with REXX execs.
Practical group work and extensive exercises consolidate the acquired knowledge and make it directly applicable.

- Basics & system environments:
Introduction to REXX and its possible applications on various platforms. - Control & loops:
Use of control structures and loops (IF, SELECT, DO). - Functions & routines:
Creating internal and external functions, parameter transfer and error handling. - Parsing & data processing:
Parsing of variables and I/O processing (PULL, QUEUE, EXECIO). - Possible applications:
Automation of editing tasks and creation of own TSO commands. - Test aids:
Use of EXECUTIL and TRACE for troubleshooting.

Procedure
Our courses and workshops can be booked flexibly as remoteor on-site training directly at your company. The prices listed below refer to both of these variants; onsite is charged plus travel costs. On-site training courses offer the advantage that we can focus specifically on your IT infrastructure and develop practical solutions together with your employees.
In-house training in our or external premises in Munich is only available on request. Please note that different conditions apply - we will be happy to inform you of these if you are interested.
A special service: We conduct our training courses for as few as one participant.

An additional travel fee of € 1,250 applies for training courses at your premises (onsite). Any external room costs incurred will be charged separately.

For groups of 2 to 5 participants, the all-inclusive price is€6,090.
