Control-M for Distributed Systems – Fundamentals for Users
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of Control-M/Server and Control-M/Enterprise Manager. With no prior knowledge required, the course is specifically designed for data center staff who use Control-M in production environments.
Participants gain a solid overview of the core components and learn to effectively use the Control-M Workload Automation GUI. Through hands-on exercises, you’ll be able to independently schedule jobs and monitor the entire job workflow. This prepares you to successfully use the Control-M platform in your daily work

Overview of Control-M/Enterprise Manager and Server, and their core functions. - Scheduling fundamentals::
Introduction to the scheduling concept, working with conditions, resources, and calendars. - User management:
Logging in and out, managing login profiles. - GUI operation:
Navigation, window structure, ViewPoints, monitoring and controlling jobs. - Job creation and management:
Creating jobs with templates, job definitions, post processing, folder management. - AUTO-EDIT variables:
Using AUTO-EDIT variables and control commands in UNIX and Windows scripts. - Monitoring and control:
Using filters, alarm windows, and Resource Map for monitoring.

Participants 1:
This course is available as individual training from 3,795 €.
For on-site training at your premises, an additional flat travel fee of €1,500 applies. Any external venue costs will be charged separately.
Participants 2-5:
For groups of 2 to 5 participants, the flat rate is 7,090 €.
For on-site training at your premises, an additional flat travel fee of €1,500 applies. Any external venue costs will be charged separately.
Participants 6-10:
Pricing for larger groups of 6 or more participants is available on request.
