INCONTROL for z/OS – BMC IOA 9.xx Installation and Administration

In this course, participants learn the installation and administration of the INCONTROL products, specifically IOA, CONTROL-M, and CONTROL-D. The focus is on explaining the differences from the previous release and demonstrating the various approaches to installing and maintaining multiple production systems. Additionally, the Self Service portal is introduced as an internal service portal in the data center, helping to offload job preparation for ad-hoc requests​.

Through practical examples, participants learn how to set up workflows in the Self Service Portal and how to effectively handle security and authorization matters.

    Introduction to the installation of IOA and INCONTROL products (CONTROL-M/R/D/V).
  • ICE interface:
    Using the ICE interface to manage installations.
  • System cloning & customization:
    Cloning production systems and applying individual customizations (Wishes, Exits).
  • Maintenance & release upgrades:
    Maintaining the products and preparing for release upgrades.
